The four theme-based artistic “doors” are situated in different places around the historical centre.
LA PORTA DELL’UOMO – THE DOOR OF MAN – Piazza Italia

LA PORTA DEL FUOCO – THE DOOR OF FIRE – Piazza Addolorata
Designed by the ceramist and sculptor Giovanni Crippa, native of Omegna, who lives and works on the hillsides surrounding Lago d’Orta. The sculpture is a large portal, 2.5 meters wide and 3.5 metres high, made up of two octagonal shaped columns. The elements of water and air blend together to create a spiral movement.
LA PORTA DELL’ACQUA – THE DOOR OF WATER – Piazza Levi
A sculpture made by the artist Mario Gallina from Turin, city where he lives and works. A teacher of figurative arts and decorative sculpture at the Contini Arts High School of Torino.
LA PORTA DEL SOLE – THE DOOR OF THE SUN – Piazza San Francesco

The door is a remarkable size, 3.80 meters high and 2.75 wide, made up of vertical and one horizontal plinths. An opaque material in contrast with the light, the elegance and refinement of the decorative elements made from alluminuim and Swaroswki.
