• Over 50 national magazines and newspapers are available, to read either at the Library or to borrow: (La Stampa, L’Espresso, Internazionale, Panorama, Quattroruote) and local (L’Ancora, Il Piccolo, Rivista di Studi Liguri, …). Consultation of various documents, the Gazzetta Ufficiale Series of exams and competitions, the official Gazette general series and the official bulletin of the Regione Piemonte.
• Online consultations of Italian Laws, the seven Codes of Italy, Community Laws & Rights and Circulars and Instructions. All material and texts are available for printing.
• Consultation of local historic periodicals (La Bollente, La Gazzetta d’Acqui, etc) and volumes of local interest.

A heritage of over 47,000 volumes are available to borrow free of charge, with over 2000 books for children and teenagers, ranging from adventure romances to comics and research books. Over 2000 books regarding all the volumes that have entered the Premio Acqui Storia (Acqui’s History prize award (from 1968 until 2006) and Acqui’s Environmental Prize Award.

Since 1998 the library has been participating at SBN (National Library Service), the on-line Catalogue (Librinlinea) of the Piedmontese sector, which enables to search for volumes held in the Public Library and those kept in other libraries throughout the Piedmont region. The National SBN Catalogue may be consulted on the Cultural Internet site www.internetculturale.it and offers the inter-library borrowing (ILL) service and the supply of national documents (DD).
